Paul Stafford 90, local attorney and member of the The Association of Former Students Board of Directors.
Paul earned a bachelors degree in Political Science from Texas A&M University in 1990 and a Juris Doctorate from Texas Tech University School of Law in 1994. He is licensed by the State of Texas and in the Federal District Court - Northern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas. From 1994 to 1998, Paul served as an Assistant District Attorney, first in Denton County, followed by service in Dallas County. Paul is currently proprietor of The Stafford Law Firm in Dallas focusing on the areas of commercial, business, and insurance litigation (policyholder rights, coverage, and recovery). He was named a Rising Star by Texas Monthly in 2005, 2006 and 2007 and was named one of eight Dynamic Lawyers in DFW in 2008. Paul was named a Super Lawyer by Texas Monthly and Law & Politics magazine. He is an active member of the Dallas Bar Association (DBA), serving on its Board of Directors. In 2006, Paul was named Outstanding Minority Attorney by the DBA, served as Chair of the organizations 2008 Board, and currently serves as its Second Vice-President. He serves on the Board of Trustees of the Dallas Bar Foundation and is a member of the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers Foundation. In addition to being an active member of the State Bar of Texas, Paul is an adjunct professor at Texas Tech University School of Law. He serves on the boards of directors of The German Marshall Fund of the U.S. as well as Camp John Marc: Special Camps for Special Kids. Paul is an active member of the Black Former Student Network (Chair, 2007-2008), the Dallas A&M Club, the Texas A&M Liberal Arts Development Council, and the Department of Political Science Former Student Advisory Board. He and his wife, Telea, have three daughters, Camryn, Kendall, and Chelsea.
Dallas Aggies have been meeting every Friday for lunch during much of the club’s 100+ year history. The DAMC’s weekly Friday Luncheon often times features a guest speaker; and when applicable - the Friday Luncheon speaker program will commence at Noon and end before 1:00pm.
Aggie business professionals are encouraged to use this luncheon as an additional means to network with Texas A&M former students in the Dallas area. It’s a great way to meet Aggies of all ages and an opportunity to fill your database with like-minded business men and women. |
